Whiter Smile with Smile Brilliant!

Teeth Whitening

My teeth are not super yellow, but they are not pearly whites either, that was why I have always wanted to have whiter teeth. After having braces, for some reason, my teeth got whiter. I don’t know why, but even my aunt complimented me for it. After a while, my teeth got stained a bit from drinking coffee…because you know, Starbucks is always on my way home so I couldn’t resist but to stop by. But anyway, for this post, I had the opportunity to partner with Smile Brilliant to try their at-home whitening system.

REVIEW | Immerse Me and Shrink & Tighten – B.Liv Skincare

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is a review about 2 skincare products called Immerse Me and Shrink & Tighten by B.liv skincare. Before anything else, I’d like to tell you a little bit about the brand. B.liv is a Singaporean skincare brand based in Malaysia. Their products are mainly made in Singapore and Taiwan. According to their website, “b.liv” isn’t just a contraction of the word believe, but is also a combination of the words be and live, which encourages b.livers to “live the moment”.

REVIEW | Rich Skin Hand & Body Lotion + Cuticle Balm

Hello everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a Hand & Body Lotion and a Cuticle Balm by the brand, Rich Skin. The brand is owned by Nancy Richmond. According to her, she started her small business almost 3 years ago out of wanting to formulate a product that would control her horrible eczema because she has had enough of prescriptions, creams, and lotions that did not work.

Rich Skin products

Rich Skin Hand & Body Lotion [240mL, $19.99 CAD]

This lotion is good for all skin types and is made out of quality essential oils and natural ingredients. I’m bad at describing scents but this lotion smells minty, almost like Vicks in my opinion. Definitely not my favourite, but it does the job in moisturizing the skin well.

Ingredients: water, emulsifying wax, grapefruit seed extract, fractionated coconut oil, rose water, coconut oil, carrot macerated oil, frankincense essential oil, and patchouli essential oil.

Rich Skin Cuticle Balm [15g, $8.99 CAD]

This cuticle balm is like frozen butter; you have to scrape off the product from the container and then warm it off with your fingers before you apply it to your dry patches. I apply this on the sides of my nails and on my heels because I have pretty dry heels. I apply it on my heels on an everyday basis and it definitely helps keep it soft.

Ingredients: castor oil, emulsifying wax, cocoa butter, grapefruit seed extract, peppermint and rosemary essential oils.

All her skincare products are proudly made in Canada!

Disclaimer: These products were sent to me for me to try and spread the word about the brand. All opinions are 100% honest.

REVIEW | Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer

Hello everyone!

Today, I’m reviewing the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer.

maybelline superstay better skin concealer

“The concealer instantly provides all-day flawless correction. Visibly reduces the appearance of dark circles, spots, and imperfections in just 3 weeks.”

So basically, this concealer claims to make your skin look better with regular use. I have been using this product for the past month but I haven’t noticed anything different with my dark circles. To be honest, I don’t really care that much about that claim since I’m more interested in how it conceals. I actually like this better than the Fit Me concealer because, I think, the shades are more on the neutral side compared to the Fit Me, which is more yellow in tone.

The Better Skin concealer gives great coverage and lasts all day. Compared to the Fit Me concealer, in my opinion, this product works better as an eye primer too. I have oily eyelids and this is what I use everyday for work. It definitely brightens my eye area and prolongs my eye makeup without creasing.

Have you tried this concealer yet? What are your thoughts? Let me know!

My Morning Skincare Routine – Oily/Combination

Cute Fonts

Insecurities. Everybody has insecurities of his or her own, but one thing’s for sure, high school was a time when I felt the most insecure about how I looked. When I was in high school, I would occasionally get pimple on my face and whenever it’s on my forehead, I would try to cover it with my bangs, which probably wasn’t a good idea since it could’ve irritate it more. Even my friends did that too. Growing up, I realized that I shouldn’t be insecure about it since it’s totally normal and everyone experiences that. I was pretty ignorant about skincare routines back then. All I used was soap on my face and I was good to go. To this day, I still get a pimple here and there but I just ignore it and wait until it dries out. I never popped a pimple in my life and I never plan on trying it because I’m scared that it might get bigger and spread. To prevent pimples/acne, it is really important for us to find the right products to use on our face. We only have one face and we better take care of it!

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 25

Cute Fonts

To date, I only have one, but I’m not really open to talking about it here on my blog. It’s not something bad, but I just wished that I made better decisions during that time. It happened last year (2015) but past is past and what was done is done. I’ve moved on and everything’s going well for me now.

I hope all goes well with you guys if you also have that one big regret in your life. Move on and learn from it.
